he didn’t screw up. mtv DID give him that award, the whole thing about him mistaking the award was for ratings. Britney and Michael were both informed before this presentation about the award, mtv wrote on their website under the pic of him and britney saying “Michael Jackson – artist of the millenium” but changed it shortly after!!
