its funny that if you watch this on youtube, you feel disappointed with britney’s performance when the people in that arena itself felt her presence.. look how excited the people were when britney entered. and the fans on the side of that sort of runway were fist pumping.. she’s freakin BRITNEY SPEARS!! it may not be her talent thats her greatest weapon, but her name is! BRITNEY SPEARS is not just a name, its a BRAND! you can sell that like hot pancakes! haha

I was not disappointed by Britney, I would’ve loved more, and she was just featured in the performances, it was not her stage. She was a guest. So people need to sit down and stop bitching about it.
She’s 30, had 2 kids and blown her knee out twice for us fans. She can’t dance like she’s 20 anymore. Stop bitching she lip syncs, she’s done that forever, she’s an entertainer/performer. Be entertained.

@mlps93 technically she lip-synchs very rarely. This performance is an example of it. But generally she sings on top of her pre-recorded vocals, even though the volume of the mic is often very low. And she sings completely live, too. The “Scared” and “You Oughta Know” in her latest tour were always 100% live and pitch-perfect, evidence that she CAN sing live.

Why sing live when she was just a special guest in other people’s performances? If it had been HER performance, then I would have wanted to hear her sing live. But who cares about these mini-appearances? She was on the screen for 3 minutes out of the 8+ total minutes of the 2 performances. And since she doesn’t appear at these boring award mega-shows, I’m thankful she decided to mingle with the rest and do so. At her status she isn’t even supposed to.
