Britney Spears ‘Criminal’ Cover

Britney Spears unveiled the cover for her next single Criminal, and right off the bat, we’re loving the color combo. Brit appears on the cover with her back to us as she sternly looks over her shoulder. And it sort of looks like she might be in the buff—or at least wearing very little clothing! Brit is illuminated in a teal blue type color against a red backdrop. A hooded man is in the background of the shot, with most of his face shadowed by his sweatshirt. The word Criminal is written vertically on the shot looking a lot like caution tape. We love that she sort of had fun with the cover, instead of going too too dark like the title suggests. As for the video, BreatheHeavy.com reports that the concept will be about Britney and her pompous fiancé who are at an event, but he’s flirting with other girls. Britney gets fed up and does something to embarrass him, so he attempts to physically abuse her, when a character named Jason swoops in and beats the guy up and saves the day. And yes, it’s apparently modeled after her real life boyfriend Jason Trawick! Pretty cool! You guys excited about the vid?
