Britney Spears X Factor – Simon Regrets Hiring Her?

So I know you guys are just as stoked as I am to see Britney Spears all season long on The X Factor—but after the first round of auditions in Austin, Texas, controversy inevitably sparked. First there were rumors that Britney walked off the set after a contestant butchered a version of her song Hold It Against Me, and now, US Weekly is reporting that Simon Cowell regrets hiring her in the first place! A source tells the mag that there’s an issue with Britney’s judging style—they said that LA Reid and Demi Lovato were able to critique the contestants, while Britney “always said nice things, even telling one mediocre singer he could be ‘bigger than Justin Bieber.’ Simon was shocked!” Another source chimed in that this is all definitely just a rumor, but there is still some concern about how Britney will handle the live shows, once the auditions wrap. since when do you need to be a good singer to judge singing? simon cowell is a judge, not to mention the producer of the show. does he sing? no, he doesn’t. and then theres you, implying that britney can’t sing. and like nearly all of the other people who judge britney’s singing abilities, you probably don’t have any, yourself. lay the fuck off.

Britney is a Great Performer, but she is not the best conversationalist! Simon must not have seen her reality show with K-Fed? That would have given him a good indication of the llimits of Britney’s vocabulary. Hello, Brit Brit chews gum non-stop and all she says is “Hi Y’all”

UGH…who cares? We watch because of Britney. Remember she is also a MENTOR in this show NOT just a judge!!
The X Factor will prove that this ain’t just like American Idol where the judges have to clowns as well. And yes the media are just creating more buzz for this show. I doubt that Simon regrets it. She’s an icon for pete’s sake.

I don’t think Simon regrets hiring her because she brings in a lot more attention to the X-Factor but I just don’t see her as a judge, judging other peopleand I think the fact of praising mediocre people shows that . She also doesn’t seen like she would cope with having to lose a contestant from her group.
