The X-Factor narrowed down their top 16 to the final 12 last night. The show was fantastic — and new judges Mario and Khloe did a swell job of keeping the elimination night fun and moved it along at the perfect pace. When the time came for Demi Lovato to reveal her top two picks in the Young Adults category though, Miss Spears had a bit of a slip-up. Demi first advanced Jennel Garcia and and Paige Thomas, leaving CeCe Frey and Willie Jones to battle it out for the final spot. After CeCe belted out her own rendition of Irene Cara’s “Out Here on My Own” — the judges, including Demi were clearly impressed. However, Britney Spears likened Cece’s performance from the night before to another pop-star — but totally called Ke$ha, KEESHA — take a look: (CLIP) Now, it’s not like Ke$ha has the easiest name to pronounce…. But, you would think Britney would know her name. Afterall, Ke$ha did write “Till the World Ends” for Brit-Brit — and also appeared on the remix of the song with her and Nicki Minaj last year. Lucky for CeCe, Demi chose her to go through to the final 12… and other acts that made it through include Carly Rose Sonenclare, Beatrice Miller, Emblem 3 and Jason …
