When I first heard this new track, I thought it could use an extended version with a bit of sample magic to boot. Dance & Shout reminded me of two classic songs about “shouting”, both in the same key as “Scream & Shout.” One song was the Tears For Fears classic, “Shout.” Makes sense right? The “I wanna scream and shout, and let it all out,” is very similar to the “shout, shout, let it all out” lyric. The other classic song was the Jackson 5 track, “Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground)” with the “let’s dance and shout” lyric (sorry that I used a cover, but it’s a good one).
