I’m not Britney’s fan, so probably my opinion is a bit more objective. I believe she had a truly talented voice. The problem maybe began when she had to become a commercial artist. If you remember, Christina was forced to sing crap too. The difference was that Christina changed her style later, while Britney remained doing basically the same thing over and over, besides, she probably abused in work, drugs, etc. It’s kinda sad to see a singer ashamed of her own voice during an interview.

we are not talking about the quality ofher voice here, we are talking about her inability to sing in tune…. she stopped rehearsing and studying voice and she started working on other things. i love britney– everyone needs to stop being dramatic.

Bad habits must’ve changed it, cause she has a very good voice before and you shouldn’t peak as a child and young teen and decline as an adult, vocally.

Look at what happened to Charlotte Church’s voice after smoking and things.

Bottom line: If you can sing well, REALLY take care of your voice! Rest it, drink water, don’t smoke/take drugs etc.

first of all, “falsetto” is a term generally applied to male voices. She was singing in her head voice, and not because she cant sing in her chest voice, but because “everytime” is a gentle song and SUPPOSED to be sung that way. do you expect her to belt it? a persons voice changes ALL THROUGHOUT THEIR LIFE, not just puberty. Additionally, singing constantly-doing concerts everyday- really affects the voice. Voices get tired & with the volume of performances she was doing her range changed

but sometimes wen u grow from a child to a woman u kinda lose it. yes smoking is a big factor. but her voice changed too fast and to dramaticly for it to be smoking.

Her vocal chords where stolen just before the tour so they decided to go ahead anyway rather than cancel. They are currently being held to ransom in the far east where the record company is conducting negotiations.

Anyways i love her voice now! It is kind of soft nd makes me relax .Xtina has strong voice but its not easy to relax and sleep with that voice!

we cant say if she sings bad or not in live concerts because she is tired and it is impossible to sing when we are dancing…. i think that she changed her style and she stoped training and singing things and notes that she was used to…and voice must be trained…but we can see clearly that her voice changed….I think her voice has changed due to several factors but i like her voice and i think that she has a nice voice
