vocally, Xtina is the best singer in our generation, I agree on that, but britney is the entertainer ( meaning all around package) of our generation so theyre both def talented and super huge, and I consider both of them legends, Britney in the same sense that madonna is a legend, and christina in the same sense that Aretha is a legend

Because they expected the kiss from Madonna and Christina, back then britney was still kinda looked at as innocent, and she didn’t seem like the type of person to do it, Christina was moving pretty fast and already acting dirty, and on top of that people looked at it like madonna was giving britney the torch through the kiss
