Jesus said that you should “pray for your enemies” which I imagine would especially include those who “sold their souls” to Satan. The UK statistics you quote are merely BPI certifications. These do not include a single Beatles studio album as they were never certified, so their data can hardly be considerd comphensive.

Yes, however 9 million of those sales were for one album, his debut album, many millions of which were certified long after it dropped off the charts and long after it stopped selling in any real quantities. The RIAA do not keep an indivdiual count of every record, cd, tape and download sold.

Thriller’s big sales were between 1982 and 1984. Since it’s died down and not on charts anymore (unlike say The Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd which is STILL on the charts TODAY). Thriller’s not the biggest selling album in ENGLISH SPEAKING NATIONS (but is in the MIddle East and China, all whom suck).

I’m not objective, I read liner notes and hear productions of albums left and right and Thriller has aged VERY BADLY. What sounded as groundbreaking in 1982 with the drum machines sound badly dated now. Only reason Thriller sold more in last year was that stupid re-issue which the sheep like you bought loser.

Quincy Jones was the PRODUCER of Thriller. Michael Jackson was interpreter of those songwriter’s songs. Quit living in Wacko’s world. MJ didn’t write 300 songs so quit smoking the bong his handlers give you. Just because someone comes up with one line doesn’t mean shit. Ozzy and Roger Waters proved greed and ego damaged them. Many of Pink Floyd’s best works were co-written by David Gilmour and/or Rick Wright (whom wrote music very well but were admittedly not great lyricists unlike Waters).
