its a six string with two chords going to separte amps and he has different pedels to mess around with the sound. and by the way guys, for alot of there songs they have a second guitarist anyway i.e. “all the kids are right”.

It is a six string. He uses heavier strings on the top 2 strings and there is an offset bass pickup installed in that position which explains the 2 cords coming from the guitar.

he runs seperate pickups for guitar and bass, if you look closely at around 0:31 he has 2 cords plugged in 1 for the guitar effects and main pickups the other cord for the bass effects mainly from the top 3 strings.

not all guitarists can play by ear, even though they are good.
i know quite a few that can all kinds of shit but cant learn a song by ear if it saved their lives.
me, i am medicore at guitar, but i can figure out shit by ear.
i suck at reading tabs also, because some people make the fingering over complicated.

yesh. It wasn’t a whole set tho. Originally we werent’ gonna go because we figured they weren’t gonna play high fivin MF because of the setting…and it was a little hot out, but we went figuring that thats the only time us kids were gonna see them anytime soon.
