I’m a BIG Britney fan – but as soon as the video from “…Baby One More Time” came out, JIVE knew that marketing would turn Britney into a billion dollar empire.

They were right, Britney’s first two albums, which they marketed to every end, count for more than half of her total sales to date.

She’s a good artist, she’s written some good songs, and she can perform like a pro when she wants to, but make no mistake – Britney WAS marketing more than music in the beginning.

HUH? Marketing image? Umm britney isnt a marketing artist, she knew how to sing and dance from the mickey mouse club. A marketing producct artist, is someone like miley cyrus who you train with a special talent. I think most people call her a “product” is cuz shes a pop star. If she was a R&B singer i bet you wouldnt call her that. LOL but hey that ur opinion.

i never denied that britney is the better entertainer. i did say (not like britney) right? i was talking about the grammys.

OH and by the way HER SCANDALS ARE THE REASON WHY PEOPLE STILL CARE. America loves to watch celebrities with that type of behavior.

Remember when Britney was in her “baby one more time” days. When she was “stronger”?. When the “boys” were all over her getting her in ”trouble”. Making her say “Oops.. i did it again!” As she had you as a “slave 4 her” an her music. She was a princess like “cinderella”. As her “Toxic” days became over. And her “blackout” began. She asked if you want a “piece of me” and asked for one thing. “gimme more” If you love Britney and know she`ll come back. copy and paste on more Brit vids. â™¥â™¥â™¥

Britney has sold more albums then christina with later album, but christina has only released 3 albums, christina aguilera, stripped, and back to basics. Brtiney had released 6, this doubles christina’s. that could be a reason why britney has sold about twice as many records as christina.

i know everyone here is a britney fan. but lets try to be fair.

i love them both. no personal preference

The reason why christina won was because the grammys aren’t just about the best entertainer. they take musical talent very seriously and christina either writes or co writes all of her songs, she is called “the voice of our generation”, she dances (not like britney, but she’s a good dancer), and that’s why she has won 5 grammys, and at the time (1999-2000) they were both very popular.
i love brtiney though
britney is amazing and i wish her the very best <3

No my dear, xtina has an amazing voice, but you cannot compare her with Britney. No way. Xtina is just a singer, Britney is an artist, a really entertainer.
