Yeah, i agree. Pop ballads seem to suit her voice quite well. When I heard this I was thinking, maybe Mariah Carey also influenced Britney Spears i some way. But we can’t solely put the blame on Britney. it was her management’s decision to do so. And now in Circus, only one song has this kind of element. It’s called My Baby. No High notes though.

God, I miss these days.
I personally think Britney Spears is far more talented than she is now. Presently, she’d constantly is making her voice sound so electronic. I hate it. BUT, if she looked back on all of this old stuff, I think she should realize that she had a very good gift all along. She doesn’t need computers to make her voice sound mechanical. I love her songs in this time period. I wish she stuck with it, but instead she let the fame get to her.
