You seem to scrutinize Britney’s fault about real singers..when that started in 1988 with Millie Vanillie..who later won a Grammy for something they never recorded..So at least Britney records her own material..she has a voice that works for her now in this Pop music business..at the end of the day my friend ,it’s a business..plus she doesn’t have to proof anything anymore..

HELL TO THE NO! Alanis is my favorite singer and THIS SONG IS UNTOUCHABLE. It just is. The fact that of all people, Britney is singing it , makes me want to gag. Britney is what ended the reign of brilliant singer- songwriter’s like the amazing Alanis Morissette. Now the radio is full of just words and beats, and it all started with Britney. “So isn’t it ironic (don’t you think?)” that Britney is covering Alanis?

It’s nearly a bit strange to watch britney sing live again…..her preformances of late have been so predictable that she just mines you kind of lose interest! This was really good to see Hope she keeps it up!

I agree. I stopped going to her concerts because of the lip syncing. But I’d totally go see her if she sings live the entire show. I can careless about the dancing –which she can’t anymore because of her weak knees. Also, songs she writes are a lot more soulful and artistic, but her label makes her do mainstream stuff.

She needs to record more rocker chick music like this. Her winy voice sounds so much better on this material!! Pop singers are expected to be like mariah/christina. Rocker chicks are expected to sing with soul which she can do. Love this.
