Omg… this is sad. That song so fits Britney Spears’ life and… it’s just sad. Like… she really must have been a mess to throw her poor life away like that and some of those photos were sad/touching… gosh I feel horrid now. Ive always said I didnt like britney, but only her songs… im one of those giving her “lofty glances from lofty people”… sadness.

every song touches someone in a special way, not all songs have the same meaning for everyone —the scarlet letter mentioned in this song might touch someome who is in “sexual indiscretion” in a special way and minister to her soul….she might recieve Christ today…..let’s show God love at all times…..let God judge how a song is being used

I am a Christian and I am distinctly uncomfortable at the way this song and Britney Spears have been thrown together. It’s not right! This song was not written about Britney Spears and it is shameful that it has been used in this way. The song is about the failings of the church not the disection of a celebrity!

U r correct, HIS perfect love judges, not yours. I agree Britt has been anything but wholesome for awhile & I take no responsibility from her on her poor decision making, however she cannot be blamed for corrupting anyone any more than u or I. We all have ppl in our lives that we influence which is why setting a good example to all those watching is so critical but most of the “kids” she would be corrupting look to her for guidance only b/c they lack the proper guidance @ home.

What am I missing here?
Do you live in Brittney or Miley’s body? Do you know every experience thay have had that has shaped them into who they are today? Have you felt every joy and pain they have? I guess I don’t understand it when those who love God don’t seem to express His grace. I am not trying to judge you, just asking you not to make assumptions about or judge those you don’t really know. That’s His job – and He loves both those girls more than any human could ever imagine : )
