And if more people liked it would’ve sold more, stayed #1 longer, and gotten as many youtube views.

First of all she was on the FREAKIN GRAMMYS, she was on talk shows and itunes sent a email to everybody about BTW. Britney did NOTHING. BTW is selling more than HIAM, but so far it hasn’t brought Gaga any new fans, when it came out everybody was saying how disapointed they were and how they don’t like her new sound. Success isn’t bassed on the numbers of sales.

@ladyloowho Polls lie all the time, look at politics. Ever heard of Gore vs Bush? And no the same person can’t buy the same song more than once on iTunes. Gaga didn’t do any promo, she hyped herself up on twitter and did some self-promotion which is something Brit could have easily done. And it’s not like Brit needed it, she’s Britney Spears for chirssake she has the pop world at her toes.
I’m not saying BTW was good, I’m just saying it was more successful than HIAM.

@skinnyandfatcat Actually numbers can lie if the same person buys the song 15 times. Which, even Perez Hilton said her did. Polls do prove a lot, it proves that more people voted for HIAM over BTW for which song was better. Gaga did a shit ton of promo, Britney has done none. BTW is a rip off of EY by Madonna. Just because a song sells doesn’t make it good, if that was the case Tik Tok would be the greatest song in the world.
