@happyhazelnut well thats exactly it though. If an artists sound changes, you have to get used to it, once you get used to it, then you like it. I love it now. But i had to get used to it first cause she had never made any song like that before. at least not on her albums

Thats true. She could probbaly release total garbage it would still make the top 10
I have a feeling Katy Perrys E.T may take over #1 this week though depending on how much hte radio plays increase, cause sales its are high

@racyrowdyrocket I think the beat was a little plain because she wanted people to focus more on the lyrics. BUT the lyrics are kind of plain too……it’s a good message….but i get turned off when the writing isn’t creative and doens’t have any anologies or metaphors….the whole song, both melody and lyrics, are kind of boring…but i’m sure the rest of her album will be great.

@racyrowdyrocket It was suppostu include gays but it wasnt the main theme of what it was about. its just everything in general

No you know what? ppl are wondering how were so many fans disapointed but how is it selling so much?

Well it sounds different from her past work and some fans (including me) didnt like it at first. But after a few days, most ppl that were disapointed got used to it. So most fans ended up getting used to it and like it now.

Im surprised though that its still #1

@LadyGAGALoverable i really thought she dedicated the song too gays but maybe i read wrong. she did say it would be the anthem of this generation but when i listened to the song like it’s so plain, no great hook, not real catchy, many were disappointed about the sound. but again it debutes at nr 1 worldwide, has been on top for five weeks and the 2 place is more than 100,000 copies below so it sure does well but i truly think that the music industry is dead when firework is still in top 5 etc :s

Anyway its not GAGA its you people. You accuse her of saying there isnt much gayness in the song but thats just it! The song wasnt suppostu be about gays. Gaga said “This is a song thats about being urself and lovig who you are”.

she never said it was about gays, ppl just assumed it was. also im gona send u a link to one of the times GAGA explained it

@LadyGAGALoverable well that’s not very convincing. you could post something on my channel send me a message button or a link or something. and if so many ppl don’t get it, it’s clearly not very explicit and why would she do that on purpose. but visually and lyrically there is still no gayness in it, the lyrics talks more about racism, the whole bridge was like dedicated to that.

see exactly, you dont get it. there is so much to explain that the youtube limit on comments wont let me finish, but i can see you dont get the full symbolism. most people dont. Actualy even some GAGA fans dont. only the biggest fans do.
If you went to the GAGA fan saite after the video was released, everyone got the same interpretation, but regular people & regular fans on youtube, failed to understand it

@LadyGAGALoverable *outcast. you can be an outcast in school but have friends “at home” but if you have a group to back you up somewhere where youre troubled youre not an outcast. its called hierarchy

what is the meaning of born this way? how i see it, its about bad vs good in the world but she said it was a gay anthem. now wheres the gayness at? thats one inconsistency, another is the alejandro vid i just explained. i cant think of more right now but they are dead serious theme flaws to me

if she felt like an outcast but still had friends she’s not an outcast. outcasts are those left alone and those that are bullied! everybody can’t be on top of the social rank, there’s got to be somebody less popular for the popular to be popular.

Turst me i know, that was me in middle school. Its not like that anymore but i still remember how it was, but it doesnt mean i didnt have my friends

anyways who knows. But im not gona say shes a fake cause i never meet her, im not going to be judgemental of someone i never meet. we dont know enough about ehr to say shes a “fake”
