also, i’ve always been a huge fan of aggressive metal like this with very melodic (or soulful) vocals. i love king’s x for that reason, although they are across the board in terms of instrumental style. Most heavy bands with nice vocals don’t put metal underneath the vocals. it’s an awesome and potent combination! the taylor swift thing u did for example. that’s where pop music should be headed. thumbs up if you agree!

i saw the metal version of the taylor swift song and i’ve been following you ever since. love it all! you’re very talented, andy. reharmonization is a lost art. we do it in jazz combos sometimes, lol, but not enough people do it with pop songs. love the style changes. good on you for pushing the envelope of pop music!

@seamac206 Well there’s a big difference between Brendon and Andy.

Andy’s more closely comparable to like a metal version of Weird Al

Where as Brendan actually creates death metal songs, which whilst being parodies of death metal, end up turning into really popular death metal songs (case in point. Bloodlines, Laser Cannon Deth Sentence, Thunderhorse, Bloodrocuted etc. etc.)
