everyone missed the whole point that MTV didnt do a very well deserved tribute to honor Britney’s career and influence in pop culture……besides having Gaga make a speech, the choreo could have been made too last longer, more clips of Britney to have been incorporated, and etc……CALM THE F*** DOWN people!!!…..helloooooo, when has MTV done any “actual” music or great awards show?!?!?

I thought the dance tribute was REALLY good and Britney obviously enjoyed it, I think it’s a shame they gave Gaga the opportunity to present the award because she always has to make EVERYTHING about her even this amazing moment for Britney and then the whole thing where she tried to get a kiss was totally lame and annother wannabe Madonna moment for her, and to interrupt Brit was just lame and pathetic.

Gaga’s video’s & music will never have the same impact Britney’s have, Britney is an icon.

you really think that gaga ‘stole britneys thunder’? do you not realise that the VMAs is SCRIPTED and MANUFACTURED?! gaga and britney both knew what was going to happen and tbh britney looked incredibly happy and proud. gaga came as jo calderone which was pretty normal compared to katy perry who had a CUBE ON HER HEAD!!!! live a little! the VMAs are supposed to be FUN so stop picking up on every minute detail!

It was a bad ass remix & performance by the dancers. In all honesty though, Britney deserved a lot more than that. Shes been a pop idol for YEARS. I think people forget that Britney had more awards in her first 2 years of being an artist than “GaGa” has yet to recieve. On that note, as much respect as I gained for “GaGa” while watching the VMA’S, she pissed me off when she took the spotlight away from Britney. She had her break through performance, let Britney have her few minuets of self glory.
