Women don’t sing in “falsetto.” Falsetto is a characteristic of some male voices. Some women can sing in the whistle register, which is the female equivalent. Carey, Aguilera, etc. Spears is *not* one of them. She does, however, have a whispery head voice. I can see how you might get confused.
