Despite Amy’s death, this clip is still funny. As a recovering addict, I find addiction has its hilarious moments alongside the tragic. We must laugh at the insanity of life and just try to get on as best we can.
Amy’s death is tragic, yes, but an addict either sobers up or loses the fight. Dawn French’s parody of Amy Winehouse is brilliant, nonetheless. “Circle of shame”-we all have them.

Hallo Lemming..I love parody but I’m not sure all parody needs to be offensive. F & S have made heaps of brilliant parody sketches that are just simply daft, and not really risking offence, just very far fetched versions of aspects of people. When we laugh at someone’s alcoholism and then they actually die from it ..as ‘crsh’ says its not so funny any more. And yes roll on humour
