she sounds better LIVE than Katy Perry. i dont know why ppl criticize her so much but ppl have always been jealous of beautiful ppl. today, cigarettes have affected her lungs and voice badly.

@AnnaKljl Her life is too in control, she could never say that. It’s sad they control her life when she’s so talented. Her dancing abilities might not be the same, but still.

@xcrazylittleme she can sing, but she can’t hit the high notes. If she could do this, she wouldn’t let her record company to hide her talent on every album, but she would show it.

@sophiaalsbury I agree, she WAS talented but in her teens she started to slowly losing her voice because of smoking. Now sadly, she can’t sing.

@sophiaalsbury If you wanna know how she got famous watch videos of her when she was 10 yrs old singing ‘I don’t care’ or ‘Love can build a bridge’ at Star Search, or anything she sang on Mickey Mouse Club, or even ‘Open Arms’ and ‘Silent Night’ which she sang at 15, before she got signed. She was AMAZING! She was naturally very talented.
And if you think this performance is bad, you need to check ur ears. You’ve no idea how hard to sing is this particular song while dancing n she sounds good.

Her voice still sounds so different from her cd voice but still this is much more authentic than anything she does now. I love the old Britney.

@VMARIE20 Actually, this is AFTER her FIRST knee surgery. She went to surgery short after finish her Sometimes music video, around december ’98. So, this performance has to be around February ’99, and that’s why she’s not dancing as well as in other performances. She’s also singing a lot live, so she couldn’t get the breathe if she dance a lot.
