Britney Spears Signs X Factor Deal!

Rumors have been flying about Britney Spears closing her deal to star on Season 2 of the US version of ‘The X Factor’. We can finally report that her position as judge on the reality competition show is final. News first broke in early March that the pop star was in negotiations to join the judge’s panel, and just as speculation died down, Deadline reported that Spears’ team was finalizing a deal. It was rumored that Spears was being offered million for a season of the show, and the latest is that it’s actually closer to million. Simon Cowell supposedly reached out to Spears personally to gauge her interest in joining the show, and has been praising her publicly, saying he is “fascinated” by her. Simon thinks being a judge on the show will be easy for the pop star. Cowell was quoted saying, “I would think that if she’s managed to sustain a family, a career, which is tough, [X Factor would be] a walk in the park.” It’s no doubt that X Factor has landed itself a stellar judge for Season 2, and we personally can’t wait to see the pop princess dominate reality TV. although i love florence. but she can’t touch britney’s charisma and dancing skills, and britney actually has musical talent, she wrote one of the most important piano ballads of this generation , and even composed the piano chords all by herself. Everytime.

Plus, the X-Factor unlike American Idol actually tries to find a star and gives the contestant props, dancers and see what they would be like in the real world…
In this show they focus on the over-all performance and performance chorisma just as much as the voice alone…
Britney before her knee injury (and having kids and getting out of shape) although she didnt sing great, she was a great performer, in this show that counts a lot too
