Demi Lovato Talks Britney Spears Collaboration

Demi Lovato dishes on the judging style of her fellow X-Factor colleagues and how she relates the most to the only other female on the panel, Britney Spears. In an interview with MTV News, the 19-year old explained that while she tries to remain positive towards contestants, she can sometimes come off as the show’s toughest judge — but she really stresses the importance of remaining honest throughout the process. On the other hand, Demi is also willing to stand up for a singer she believes in regardless of the opinions of the other judges. The popstar seems to be really enjoying her time with her fellow judges and even gushed about the possibility of a potential collaboration with BSpears herself, saying quote — “It would be an honor, but no plans yet.” So we can’t wait to see Demi’s brutal judging tactics in action — What are you guys looking forward to most in this season of X-Factor? You say it’s a bonehead move… but Britney Spears has a much larger fanbase than Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul. Nicole may have a better singing voice, but Britney has sold more records than Nicole as a solo artist and when she was in The Pussycat Dolls – so because she has a larger fanbase, that means more people will watch X Factor: and after all, it’s all about the ratings.

Britney Spears has been singing live recently – I’ll admit, previously she didn’t (after her breakdown) – but on the Femme Fatale tour she was singing live. I just thought I’d mention it, I’m not being horrible or anything but I just thought I’d say =’)

What the heck? Choosing Britney Spears as one of the panel judges is the most brilliant move by Simon.He knows how influential Britney is in the US and in the world and that will pull millions of followers for the show. Paula and Nicole are just not that popular as compared even with Demi.

Personally I think Simon Cowell is a f*cking coward for firing Nicole and Paula as the female judges and replaced them with two new ones but.one who has talent and the other who USE to have a singing voice and a professional lip syncer…and we ALL know who I’m talking about…Britney Spears aka Bullshit herself,why have a judge judging other people’s singing when she can’t sing herself seriously!? I can’t wait to watch and see if the 2nd season is an EPIC FAIL because of Simon’s bonehead move!
