of course smoking does something to your voice – just not what Britney presented here. EVERYONE, smoker or not, can do this. I never smoked in my entire life and I have that same problem with the creaky voice whenever I don’t watch how I’m saying something, you know what I mean?

Lol don’t worry I’m really not concerned. However I must say that Britney is without a doubt one of the biggest threats in the industry in many ways. Christina on the other hand, hasn’t really been a threat to anyone since her prime which was a decade ago. Again… I don’t say that out of bitterness. Just keeping it real tbh.

OMG do not defend or get concerned about these people to that degree. It is one irrelevant media puppet versus another. I think you are a sharp person based on your observations, but I don’t see how she could be a threat to anyone given her severe lack of control over her career. Yeah, her mannerisms are completely different. She acts pretty reserved most of the time. And I felt almost a little awkward watching this.. She is not as comfortable in front of the camera.

that voice, that typical voice Britney has just like these chicks that had to much cock. There’s some sort of grrr grr grrrrrr in the voice as if there’s actual sperm inside the throat giving rough vibrations to the voice.

I’ve been a fan since 1998 and I can assure you that her voice didn’t sound robotic at any point ever, probably because she did not smoke then, maybe there’s also stress or anxiety. I just hope she does not damage her vocal chords.

I’m not even trying to be bitter or horrible right now… but I genuinely feel so utterly sorry for all the Christina fans out there right now, because they seem to have this huge shadow of delusion that somehow Christina is going to make things difficult for Britney on her debut season of XF.
I’m not trying to start an argument, but all you need to do is look back at history and you’ll find it was Britney that made things difficult for Christina. Britney fans aren’t worried. C-fans should be.

yeah thats true also, I just know from personal experiences of witnessing people who smoke, down the road the voice does get alot deeper, maybe not to britney yet cause shes only been smoking for like 10 years but if you look at someone whos been smoking 20+ years usually there voice gets deeper and more raspy. Just my observation.
