Are you kidding me? Tate should win because he has a familyï»¿ to support? The guy has been in bands for years (many more than Carly’s few plays on/off Broadway) and has not been able to make it to the big time. So we reward all his past failures by giving him $5M. I am not saying he should not have won, but let’s have him win for his skill, not out of sympathy. That is insulting.

Maybe you haveï»¿ no feelings. I feel it with not problem. I am always confused about these comments about the “emotions” of the performers. Sure, someone hwho sings a song they wrote about their own life experience might feel emotional when they sing it. But singing someone else’s lyrics that have no real meaning to your own life? I wonder how much “emotion” Celine feels after the 3,000th time she has sung “My heart will go on” nightly?
