Glee Cap: Britney 2.0 4×02 Recap

Welcome back to ClevverMusic, here’s your Glee Cap! The second episode of Season 4 opens with a Britney S. Pierce voice over where she is reveling in the glory of her perfect (and second) Senior Year. She is head cheerleader and Class President and of course her voice over ends with “It’s Britney, Bitch!” Britney leads the girls in singing “Hold It Against Me” on the Football field and McKinley High Basketball court- check it out. Bad news bearer Sue Sylvester breaks it to Britney that she is a poor role model for the Cheerios due to her bad test scores and kicks her off the team, making Kitty head Cheerio. Over in dance class at NYADA, teacher Cassie July tells Rachel she doesn’t have enough sex appeal to dance the tango…so Rachel asks heartthrob Brody to dance with her in class even though upperclassmen aren’t allowed. Rachel and Kurt find an apartment in the city and Kurt decides to try out for NYADA again but first will apply at Vogue.com. At McKinley High, to cheer Britney up, Mr. Shuster gives the Glee club a homework assignment of Britney Spears songs for the week. In an effort to warn Marley about new kid Jake, Unique leads the girls in singing “Womanizer”. Of course new girl Marley doesn’t listen and meets Jake on the bleachers for a playful acoustic rendition of Britney Spears …

i have noticed that emma has been a bit of a hypocrite
in the an episode (i think it is the gaga one) she mentions how teenage girls don’t really have any good role models “there is britney spears with her shaved head” but in teh first britney episode she says that britney is a good role model. or something along those lines

it could be found offensive if taken the wrong way at first i was like what the f*** are they thinking but how they managed to connect a normal event of glee drama (britney failing in school) and connecting it to a downfall. the two worst parts where the head shaving and the gimme more, the paparazzi part with the umbrella was random and kind of uncalled for it wasn’t even necessary . but atleast they connected it to a great comeback

I think it was too rushed. She should of hit rock bottom for a while longer before coming back. Doing it in the same episode rushed it.
