I totally agree. The child star whom Carly most reminds me of is Natalie Portman, who also began her career at age 13. Both are brilliant talents, extremely intelligent, precociously mature, serious about their career aspirations and supported by a loving and protective family. The risks for her are real but I’d put the odds in Carly’s favor.

This was a brilliantly done video. Its true, the entertainment business can eat a child alive, especially a young girl! Carley has solid, stable parents, and supporting brother. You take that factor, and add to it her being a seasoned stage performer, which she is, having been on broadway, and singing since she was 2 yrs old, and what you have is a good foundation for a great performer along the lines of Barbara Streisand, or Celine Dion. This young woman has class, and comes from class parents
