That note at 1:10 was very surprising O-o and I can’t believe her range is practically 4 octaves!!
Btw Song at 3:20?

Her voice is never nor has it ever been naturally thin. She naturally has a very thick and dark voice. Now her commercial singing voice may be thin but she has proven she can thicken and darken it whenever. Listen to “Love 2 Love U” the entire song Britney sings in a very light, thin voice. But she belts a really strong C#5, then goes back to light. She is a master manipulator when it comes to singing.

Early on in her career, she had a pretty solid, if thin, voice (much like Selena Gomez; thin, but packing a punch). She knew how to pull a solid, spirited vocal out of each tune she sang; the descending run in “Thinkin’ About You” proves that.

She does, yes. Earlier in her career, she didn’t need all the studio gimmickry. Granted, the voice was kinda thin, but she possessed balls and guts to give the vocal some punch.

She has a very unique voice. Love it.

that song is “Mona Lisa”
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
actually, YouTube is international… But you’re right, people should comment with the language the video is using. Like me, I’m Finnish, but I still write for you in English.
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
@Dulce Rivera you’re a dumbass. Learn English you fucking imbecile this is America.
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
omg, people need to know how hard it is to hit a note, and then criticize a singer…. ps, i can’t do those falsetto notes like she does =(
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
It’s an unreleased demo called mona lisa.
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
OMG what is that song?? 09:20 I NEED IT
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
Britney may not have the most powerfull voice on the earth but one thing i can tell she has one of the most beautiful and angelical voice i that i have ever heard “i wish she could wake me up in the morning, AHHH!! Singing xDD” #XFactor #WeLoveBrit <3
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
People who don’t think she can sing should definitely watch this.
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
She’s the first artist who got me singing so I will always love her. I used to sing her songs as a little girl and still love her.
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
she isn’t a contralto she’s a soprano soubrette or a doubrette is a type of soprano light for comedy on operatic french
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
@milsaki02041997 And PS Mr. Dumbass there is hardly that many notes in this video which have been autotuned fickong moron.
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
@milsaki02041997 Did your mother drop you on your head as a child? Because that could be the logical explanation for your dumbass-ness. Auto tune DOESN’T make an individual sing or make note, it puts a particular note in pitch. Next time know what your talking about before you make a dumb ass comment
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
Common people 80% of these notes are autotune and she can’t sing….FAKE
I’m so interested in her live vocal range…
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
a soubrette controls more low notes and less high notes, that’s why I think she has that type of voice, and you can compare and alto voice like Katy Perry, or Florence Welch, those voices are dark, but Britney’s is really light and high, she doesn’t use falsetto cause you can actually hear when she goes down the scale and it doesn’t break.
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
I love her voice, I know she sings well, and her voice is quite rare, but in this video she has a few high notes while you took her best low notes, she has a higher register
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
I’m sorry but Britney isn’t nor has she ever been a soprano. Her natural singing is very deep and dark. Britney’s high voice is NOT her natural singing voice, that’s why when she’s singing the high notes in the false tone she loses power. Her low to mid-registers are to strong for her to be a soprano especially a soubrette.
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
I think that she’s actually a soprano, or she was, because she can handle more high notes than this, the thing is that she has less high notes than a soprano like Kylie, but she has a huge range, she’s singing actually like an alto, but her voice sounds bright
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
Singing in falsetto is singing at the top of your throat. Head voice is a completely different thing,
July 7th, 2013 at 12:30 pm
@HighNoteFanatic Falsetto and Head Voice are NOT the same thing.
