Essentially, the “baby” is question never had a mother. Of course, it’s not her fault that her own parents sold her and her sister like sacks of rice, shamelessly exploiting them untill they broke, but knowing the truth still makes this song rather creepy and disturbing. Sympathy ends where she starts harming other people, like her kids.
